Carlsberg Unaware of Public Listing in Laos

The Lao government forgot to inform the Danish business partner about their future plans. Carlsberg has no present plans about getting the Lao Brewery public listed.

The international press contact of Carlsberg brewery, Jens Peter Skaarup says to Jyllands-Posten that there are no present plans for the Lao Brewey to be public listed, and the only reason that Lao Brewery has been mentioned at the list of future public listed companies are that Lao Brewery is the biggest company in Laos.

“Appartenly they have forgot the detail that the brewery is a joint venture between Carlsberg and the government. So it cannot be public listed without asking us,” says Jens Peter Skaarup to Jyllands-Posten.
